The primary purpose of a Medical Assistant is to provide medical assistance to the physician or nurse practitioner with routine medical care in accordance with the established procedures set forth in the clinic. Additional duties may include answering the phone, scheduling patients, ordering supplies and maintaining an orderly work space.
