About Us
Located in the southeastern corner of Colorado in the small farming community of Walsh, our facility is a mecca for senior living. We provide loving, compassionate care to our residents and help them feel very much at home as one of our own family. You can sit by the waterfall or in the warm cozy atmosphere of the fireplace. The local dentist, chiropractor, and Rural Health Clinic are located on Campus. Our ambulance service has quick response time for any emergency.
A little bit of History
Walsh Hospital District was organized on the 26th day of May in 1960. In 1989, the Hospital converted to a long term care facility and continues to operate in that capacity along with additional health services. The district is located in the extreme southeast corner of Colorado and covers 1330 square miles of Baca County. We are considered to be a frontier community. Farming and ranching is the major source of commerce in the area.

It is our purpose to include their input in the care we render to their loved one. Their interaction with this facility will be encouraged at all levels of the organization.
